I didn’t really check out the step file much. I had to get going to work and just uploaded it how it was. Forgot I was on a new schedule 15 minutes earlier than it used to be.

That sucks that it turned out that way. I’ve had a bunch of family in town and haven’t had time to really screw around with it any more.

I think the best bet is to just find a way to get inventor on a computer. 40gb seems like a lot. It should be like 7-14gb. When you run the setup exe it will eventually get to a point where you need to select what you want installed. Uncheck everything except inventor itself.

I wonder if Fusion 360 has the same stl feature recognition as inventor. It is a much smaller download and runs in the cloud so you don’t need a powerful computer to run it.
