I use the Makita with my holder here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1039033. I highly suggest the Z upgrades http://www.thingiverse.com/make:169149 to make it more rigid. I have not done a lot of tests with the new setup yet but will post in a few days when I get a chance. The Makita is very quiet and the built-in 10K to 30K RPM speed control is nice to have.
