Wow, I want some of that. Something I’m doing is too loose.
Here’s a video of me gently wiggling the Z tower (hand on the z axis stepper). Two bearings on the inside edge aren’t actually in contact with the conduit until I wiggle it, which I think is contributing to the looseness.
Another experiment I should run is with the plywood raised on blocks of wood and the Z axis raised, to minimize the lever at the toolhead; I recall you suggested minimizing the Z height to improve stiffness.
Any tips on tightening the inside middle Z parts? I can’t reach a wrench in there. :v) Maybe I should disassemble and tighten it as I put it back together?
