Any reason why a 3 foot Z with a Bowden would not work?

I am more of a fan of the direct drive. My experiences with Bowden extruders starting a couple years ago and that awful e3D mk3 almost made me give up printing all together.

However I got this delta kit in from China and amazingly enough it doesn’t jam. I got a few more in to try on a reprap and they don’t jam either so back to the Bowden design.

I got a project to prototype auto parts with it.

You would have to try it. Technically 3′ is no problem, but really it will sway pretty good I would imagine at higher speeds, low speed at full extension you might be okay.
