    Hi,
I’m currently building my first MPCNC build and I only lack the Nema 17 steppers. Sadly, stepperonline (amazon) doesn’t ship to where I live. I found some alternative Nema 17s, but I’m not sure if they would work. I’ll be doing (mainly) aluminum and wood milling. I’d be grateful if someone could tell me which stepper is better for the project.

    Stepper 1: https://www.pololu.com/product/2267

Size: 42.3 mm square × 38 mm, not including the shaft (NEMA 17)
    Weight: 285 g (10 oz)
    Shaft diameter: 5 mm “D”
    Steps per revolution: 200
    Step Angle: 1.8°
Current rating: 1.68 A per coil
    Voltage rating: 2.8 V
    Resistance: 1.65 Ω per coil
    Holding torque: 3.7 kg-cm (51 oz-in)
    Inductance: 3.2 mH per coil
    Lead length: 30 cm (12″)
Output shaft supported by two ball bearings

    Stepper 2: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nema-17-Stepper-Motor-1-5A-0-55N-m-55N-cm-47mm-For-Reprap-3D-Printer-CNC-/291198672147

    Size: 42 x 42 x 47 mm
    Current rating: 1.5A per coil
    Voltage rating: 24V
    Resistance: 1.6 Ω per coil
    Holding torque: Max. 0.55 N.m
    Inductance:2.8 MH per coil
    Step Angle: 1.8°
    200 steps/revolution

P.S.: I got the detailed specs for the second stepper from: http://www.robotistan.com/15-a-18-055nm-step-motor-nema-17-3d-printer-motor (The site is in Turkish.)
