Well I had a successful first weekend after building everything on Friday. I was surprised how quick everything went together. Plenty more to dial-in yet but figured I’d share. I took 2 weeks to print all the parts (matching my Prusa i3 MK2S), ordered all the HW (Thanks Ryan!), and made 2 trips to Lowes to get the EMT and lumber for the table.
I was able to print out the Vicious logo Saturday and Sunday I did my first engraving test. I’m currently using my Dremel 4000 until I get more comfortable with inkscape, estlcam, and repetier. I usually use Fusion 360 but figured I’d use the initial group of software I saw in the various tutorials. Attached is a few photos.
1. Print PSU case (waiting for female plug with switch to get right measurements before I finish the Fusion 360 case. I printed a small portion to test the screw hole alignment and fit. All is well so far.)
2. Attach a small wall to the inside of the back 2x4s to mount the PSU and the Mini-Rambo. (Both will have printed cases with mounting holes to be attached vertically).
3. Clean-up wiring (waiting for tube. May opt for cat5.)

That is one sharp looking build!
So…..get it dirty.
